Contestant's Name: Ginger Entered on 3/13/2006 1:41:25 PM My fiancee and I got engaged on Christmas morning. I had been living in West Haven, CT and traveled home on December 24th so we could spend Christmas with my family. We arrived rather late so I checked out the presents while Kevin chatted with my family and then we all went to bed. Early the next morning, Kevin (who was supposed to be sleeping downstairs) snuck upstairs and woke me up. Still not fully awake yet I whispered that my family was going to kill him if they caught him upstairs in my room. He responded that they knew and thats when I noticed he was down on one knee. I didn't even give him the chance to ask before I broke into tears and started saying yes. I guess the night before he had asked my parents permission for my hand in marriage and they agreed so he woke me up with quite the Christmas surprise!
