Well, I have known Michael for quite a few years (around three years to be exact). We met over the internet.

My grandfather had died, so we came from South Carolina, to be with our family. Well, we then decided to move, to be closer to my father's family. I remembered that Michael lived here in Texas. So, when I saw him sign on to the internet, I decided to let him know that I moved here. Since, it had been about two months, since we had spoken to each other. Well, a few weeks passed and we met in person, him and his friend came and picked me up. I then stayed at his place that night, ended up not coming home. I had moved in with him. As time went by, we grew closer and closer.

One night, Michael told me to get in the car, so I did not know what I was in for. We drove, and drove for about an hour and a half. Down to the beach. Where his friend John was waiting. I got out of the car, him wrapping his coat around my shoulders. As John told me to follow him. Michael nodded for me too, him staying behind. I followed John down to the beach. Asking him what was going on, but he didn't hear me, or either he wouldn't say. Where there was a romantic candlelit dinner prepared for two. John pulled out my chair, as I slowly nodded and had a seat. Wondering what in the world was going on, and why John was acting so strange. But, I shrugged it off going with the flow. Wondering why Mike stayed behind. Suddenly I saw Mike comming from the distance. With a single red rose. I smiled as he walked closer, wrapping his arms around my neck softly kissing my cheek, then handed me the beautiful red rose. Then he took himself a seat. I asked him what was going on here, and why is John acting like that. And, then I said "I love this.. so Romantic" He said, he just wanted to do something special for me. Because, he loved me.

I told him that the food looked so delicious. It was steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with corn on the cob and a dinner roll. And to drink - tea. John in the meantime was standing off to the side, he started some lovely music about this time. I heard the song.."Achmey of Love"(In Jap.) We both love that song. We started talking, then slowly started to eat. After that song was the song. "I'll Follow You, Will you Follow Me".(Alow of Romantic love songs) Michael told me his feeings, and we were talking about different stuff. Well, then after we finished eating dinner and all. Michael asked me if I wanted to go for a walk, I said sure. I said sure and we rose, he told me to sit for a second while he went to John and told him something. He returned to me, I asked: "What is it, What's going on" He said it's nothing. So, I surged and we started walking along the beach. I took off my shoes so the sand could run through my toes. After about five minutes we started heading back, to the table. At least that's what I thought. But, before we even got there, I saw a blanket laying on the sand. As we walked up to the blanket. My eyes widened a bit, as I saw, laying there. A bottle of soft red wine, with two glasses, and a white rose. Michael asked me if I would like a bottle of it. I smiled softly, not believing what was going on, from the beginning of the night I thought it was a dream. So, I did not really realize what was going on. Did not realize that this was for real. I said yes. As we sat and started sipping on our wine, gazing up at the stars. I started to pick up the white rose, putting it to my chest. Slowly leaning forward giving him a soft kiss. At that moment, the song by James Ingram & John Tesh "The Wedding Song" started playing. Michael then looked deeply into my eyes holding my right hand and asking me to be his wife. My eyes widened by the surprise, my mouth opening just looking at him. I was speechless. I just stood there for about 2-3 mins. Then smiled, hugging him close. Slowly nodding to myself. Dropping the rose in the process, by mistake. Hey, I was out of it. He asked again, I said: "yes.. yes, I will be your bride" Softly. Just stood there holding him. Michael then asked me where the white rose went. I said, eek I donno. I then saw the stem in the sand behind his leg. I said, oh it's laying right there. He said: I want you to smell the inside of it, it smells so good. I said okay. I leaned down to pick it up. As I did so. A small ring slid out from the inside if it. He saw it, as it did so. He said, "It's a temporary one. I'll get you a real one later." I smiled, sliding it on, jumping up throwing my arms around him. Saying. No, you don't have to. I like this one. Rings don't mean anything to me, I only want a ring, to say that I am taken and to lay off.
