My name is Racquel Palmer and my fiancé's name is Leon Rowe. I was first introduced to Leon by my friend Elaine who was just recently married to Leon’s brother. While they were dating, she thought it would be a good idea to hook me up with his brother Leon. They told me a little about him and showed me a picture of him and asked me if I would be interested in talking with him on the phone to get to know him better. I said fine and took the number. In the same time, they also told him about me and asked him if he would be interested in talking with me, and he also agreed.

After numbers were exchanged, I bought a phone card and called him – however the phone card ran up after approximately 10 minutes. Being that the conversation was interesting and not yet finished, Leon immediately called me back with his phone card and we have been talking everyday since this time (3 or more times daily). The day we began talking was May 15, 2006. Since this date we have been communicating via e-mail, text message, telephone and by mail. After he decided to pay for half of my plane ticket we were even able to communicate in person.

I had the opportunity to travel to England to meet him on June 29, 2006. We had a great time for 5 long days as we toured London and Birmingham, England spending quality time in getting to know each other better. We had such a great time that when I returned to the United States the communication and connection continued until he finally asked me to marry him over the phone. I answered, “Yes” and now he is in the process of moving to the USA so that we can be together. I thank you in advance for granting us the winning prize. Our wedding date is set for August 28, 2007.
