Contestant's Name: Ivonne Entered on 1/4/2003 11:42:43 PM Eddie and I met seven years ago when he was on leave from the Navy to visit the family. He was visiting a mutual friend who introduced us and Eddie and I became very good friends. Eddie was married and so was I back then. For about two years Eddie and I remained very good friends until one day his organizer was stolen from his locker on the ship and we lost touch. His friend decided to contact him one day and my name came up, and Eddie was told that I was divorced and he also indicated that he also was divorced. Eddie called me up and we got together. The first week of him and I contacting eachother he met up with me and he said in these exact words "it's been too long a time that we lost touch and I will not let you go again, will you marry me?", I almost passed out....I answered very quickly, "Sailor, I would love to be your wife." At that moment we both cried...the last thing said that night was too many years have gone by us, lets not allow any more to go by :o). We kissed eachother goodnight and now we are getting married on September 20, 2003.
